This is probably the least used campsite on Beth Lake. The canoe landing is somewhat brushy, at least in late summer. The fire grate is placed closed to the water. Unless the wind is out of the east, the fire grate should be well protected at this eastern facing campsite. There are two small tent pads and both had some roots and rocks. There is limited shoreline access. The pit toilet is up a small hill.
Canoe landing.
The wind is rarely out of the east in the BWCA, so even though this fire grate is right on the edge of the water, it should still be out of the wind most of the time.
The fire grate, This view is towards the east. You can see a good portion of Beth Lake from here.
This is the best of the campsites two tent pads.
The other little tent pad.
The donniker (name used by circus and carnival workers to describe a toilet).
Looking southeast at the southwest corner of Beth Lake.
This view is to the northeast. The long peninsula in the western end of Beth Lake is in the background. BWCA Campsite 837 is on that point to the far right.
