A large number of quality tent pads. Latrine is a little bit exposed to the main camp area, so limited privacy. Fire pit area is very well built. The canoe landing is of the rocky variety, but not too bad. This campsite, as well as BWCA Campsite 708 across the lake, are probably your best bets on Alder Lake.
The landing for this campsite is somewhat rock challenged.
Well built up fireplace that has good views of the water, but far enough inland to be out of the wind.
Another view of the fire pit.
Large flat tent pad with a blanket of pine needs.
Another large tent pad.
This particular pad is near the back of the campsite.
Smaller tent pad that is back in the forest.
Yet another tent pad. This particular location is not as good at others at this campsite.
This giant pine shows the way to the latrine (back right of view). The potty, while being fairly far from the fire pit at this campsite, is also not obscurred very well (direct sightline).
Looking toward the lake from the back of this campsite.
Looking toward the west from the campsite.
Looking toward the northwest from the campsite toward the point located across the bay.
View toward the west of Alder Lakes' large western point (where BWCA Campsite 705 is located).
