While it may be desirable to camp on this point, this campsite has some issues. The site was heavily impacted by blowdown from a recent storm. This would not be a great site if the wind is howling. The lack of trees means you'll now find little shade at this site. The three obvious tent pads at this campsite are only average at best and somewhat small. The latrine is reachable by trudging up the hill. Canoe landing is so-so due to rocks, but still manageable. This would be a great campsite for stargazing, however.
Some rock to deal with, but the water is shallow enough to make it relatively easy to ingress/egress.
There is no shade around the fire pit and it is exposed out on the point.
This rather mediocre tent pad is just to the north of the fire pit next to the fallen cedar tree.
Tent pad located next to the fire pit. This small pad is probably the best one at this campsite.
A bunch of bigleaf aster flowers. They were commonly seen at this campsite, probably taking advantage of the abundant sunlight made available by the lack of tree cover.
You will find this rather unappealing tent pad up the hill just behind the camp.

A look at the blowdown that surrounds this campsite.
It's a bit of a walk to the public facilities up a small hill.
