Most groups will probably rate this the best of all the campsites along the north shoreline of Alder Lake. There is a sandy beach for a canoe landing. A stairway takes you up to a well built fireplace with a great sitting area. There are numerous tent pads of good quality to support any sized BWCA group. The latrine is up the hill. Negative of this campsite is that you have to sit down by the lake for good viewing as the views from the fire pit are limited.
Beach landing. Steps lead up to the fire pit.
View to the southwest. The small point that is just west of this campsite is visible.
Gourmet kitchen and dining area.
Solid stone table included.
Plenty of good choices for pitching the tent.
Another tent pad.
View towards the lake from the kitchen.
Gotta chug up the hill to find the green monster.
A look down toward the beach from the top of the stairway.
