This campsite still exists, but it is no longer maintained by the U.S. Forest Service because it is in the Weasel Lake Primitive Management Area of the BWCA.

Campsite is in good shape still as of last visit. It was spared by the Pagami Creek Fire that swept through this area a few years ago. Campsite provides awesome views of the lake and is plenty big enough for the small groups that tend to visit PMA's.
A tour of this campsite located on the a point jutting out from the northeast shoreline of the lake. Unknown whether the latrine was removed from this site or not. Also, the fire grate are typically removed at former campsites that are in Primitive Management Areas.
