This quiet campsite is located all the way up the northeastern arm of Perent Lake. There is a massive table rock landing in front of the campsite. The fire grate is set back from the lakeshore a bit, so views of the lake are partially obstructed. Good shoreline access at this site. There are three tent pads (four if you want to sleep in the kitchen). A couple of these tent pads looked like they may have drainage issues. The island campsite to the south (BWCA Campsite 1022) is about a quarter-mile away. If that site is occupied, you will likely hear your neighbors.
Top notch canoe landing.
The kitchen is in a reasonably good position, balancing lake views with wind and sun protection.
Another view of the kitchen.
Lake facing view. This is looking south.
Reasonably good tent pad.
Some rocks and roots to contend with at this pad.
This tent pad was damp for some reason, but it was also the flatest.
Accessible along a short trail. This pot has some mileage on it.
