The best landing site at this campsite is on the south side of the site.
The view from the kitchen is toward the west. If the wind is strong out of the west, this campsite will get quite breezy.
The dining room furniture surrounding the fire pit was in good shape as of 2023.
Several good tent pads arranged around the fire pit. The canoe landing zone is solid. There are expansive views of Lake Three from several vantage points scattered around this campsite. Several large pines survived the fire at this campsite, so there is still some tree cover here. The fire pit is in good condition as of 2023. This campsite is located at the north end of the long channel on the east side of Lake Three.
This tent pad is a little ways away from the fire pit and near the trail leading off to the latrine. It is positioned up on a little shelf.
This tent pad is right next to another tent pad, and both of these spots are close to the fire pit.
The other tent pad near the fire pit. This one is a little better since it comes with a lake view towards the northwest.
The latrine location doesn't offer the greatest privacy as the trail leading to it is short and there is sparse tree cover. Nevertheless, old #17 will be ready for you.
Northwesterly view.
Peering west to northwest.
From this vantage point, you are looking south/southwest. Just right of center is the long channel on the east side of Lake Three that bisects the eastern shoreline and the large island in this part of the lake. The south end of this channel ends near the Horseshoe Lake portage.
