A few rocks but otherwise a fine place to dock. BWCA Campsite 2220 is on the small island directly behind the canoe. The campsite is on the right side of that island from this viewpoint.
A close look at the canoe landing.
Fire pit. View toward the nearby island. There is actually another campsite just down the shoreline to the left and out of view. That is BWCA Campsite 1489. This campsite will probably be preferred by most folks over that one.
Huge campsite with lots of shoreline access, many tent pads and good views. Main negative is that it is close to several other campsites, so likely to see and hear other campers.
Looking toward the channel that connects Lake Two and Lake Three. Other canoeists will regularly pass through that channel
One of many tent pads.
Spacious tent pad.
This pad is over closer to the lake.
Another one.
Stone steps lead up to the dais.
View of the fire pit from the back of the campsite.
Split rock. That gap is large enough for most folks to squeeze through.
