The campsite is in a burn area, so there are a few surviving trees. it is possible to find a little bit of shade during the middle of a sunny day if you strategically position your camp chair. The fire grate is unshaded. There are two tent pads. The entire campsite is a bit overgrown from lack of use. This campsite has a large sandy beach.
Hundreds of feet of sandy beach makes from prime swimming and easy boat landings.
Fire pit is in good repair, but there is no shade. Handy boulder in the background makes for a countertop.
