OK canoe landing. Campsite has an 'overused' feel and appearance. There are quite a few downed trees in the area. BWCA Campsite 672 is nearby (just across the channel). This other campsite is almost always occupied, so you will likely have neighbors if you stay here. Only good shoreline access is at the canoe landing. The fire pit area provides some views of the water. Plenty of shade. There are three good tent pads. Pretty views of Horseshoe Lake from this campsite.
Canoe landing on this mildly sloping slab rock. Not too bad.
A look at the kitchen stove with your back to the water.
View from the kitchen looking towards the lake.
Large tent pad. Heavily used, but that's because it's nice and flat.
Another tent pad. Also good.
The smallest of the three tent pads located at this campsite.
A place to rest your feet while reading your favorite Nancy Drew mystery.
View of Horseshoe Lake from the campsite.
View of the shallow little bay just south of the campsite. A tiny creek flowing out of Gore Lake drains in to this bay (not shown, but would be just off the left side of this photo).
