The campsite is tucked well back in the forest, far from the lake shore. It is most easily reached by paddlers by accessing it from the portage between Gull Lake and Home Lake. Where the Angleworm Trail crosses the portage, head a short distance west and you will find the access path leading to this campsite on the south side of the Angleworm Trail. Hikers will find the access trail to the campsite just before or after passing over the portage between the two lakes, depending on which direction they are hiking the loop. There are two good tent pads at this portage. There are no views of the lake. There may be a path through the woods directly from the campsite down to the lake, but didn't explore it when visiting. The other way to get water and reach the lakeshore is just by following the Angleworm Trail back to the portage and walking down the portage.

Home Lake Campsite 1
The kitchen area. Located in an open area in the forest.

Home Lake Campsite 2
Another view of the fire pit.

Home Lake Campsite 3
The larger of the two tent pads. It is a good one, being large and flat.

Home Lake Campsite 4
The smaller of the two tent pads.

Home Lake Campsite 5
Was a bit hard to find. It is sort of tucked behind a fallen log.
