This campsite is located smack in the middle of the Border Route Trail, which runs right through it. Gogebic Lake access is perhaps 40 feet from the fire pit, but no good views of the lake from the camp fire area. Tent pads, of which there are many to choose from, are right on the BRT treadway. The latrine is up a steep hill. Canoers will likely use the other campsite on Gogebic Lake, so this site is typically open to hikers.
The fire pit is located five feet from the Border Route Trail path. Gogebic Lake is visible through the trees in the background.
The Border Route Trail is just left of center. The fire pit is just to the right of it.

The tent pads at this campsite are all right along the Border Route Trail.
You'll need to work your way up a steep incline to find any relief at this campsite.
