The landing is a little tricky with some big boulders. The water also gets deep quickly here. The fire grate is set back a short distance from the lake under some good-sized pine trees. Seems to be located in a position that creates a good compromise between lake views and shelter from the wind and sun. Three tent pads nestled amongst the pines. It appears that they all have tree roots embedded in them. The forest floor is covered in pine needles at this campsite. The campsite isn't heavily utilized as it is located on the remote east end of Crocodile Lake.
Water drops off quickly here.
The kitchen.
A look at the seating area facing in the direction of the lake.
Little tent pad, big roots.
Another larger tent pad, also with plenty of roots.
