There are a couple decent canoe landings at this campsite. There is only one obvious tent pad. The fire grate is well placed and should be somewhat protected from the elements while still being close to the water. Campsite will see some canoe traffic coming and going from the nearby Alton Lake portage. Fairly good shoreline access.
One of two good canoe landings at this campsite.
The kitchen.
View towards the lake from the kitchen.
Small tent pad, but high in quality. Only obvious tent pad at this campsite. A couple other cleared areas at this campsite could serve as emergency tent pads.
The restroom is up a slow rising hill.
Partial moose skull that was sitting on the boulder near the fire grate.
Another canoe landing area. Also good spot to access the shoreline. This view of Beth Lake is to the west/southwest.
