Portaging Direction: From Swing Lake to Abinodji Lake
This board walk traverses a marshy area to the edge of the water. Do not make the mistake of stepping in the water when getting out of your canoe because the mud is at least chest deep (was able to bury a paddle to the handle easily).
This is a fairly easy portage. Be careful at the start of the portage that you do not step off the logs into the water of Swing Lake...it is deep mud. The route is mostly level. The path can get overgrown and brushy in spots. It takes less than five minutes.
